I have been wearing colored contacts for about fourteen years. I have dark brown eyes and a steeper base curve (about 8.3) which makes finding them very difficult as most are 8.6. For the past six or so years I have been using a handpainted contact lens vendor who does a lot of special effects lenses for movies but also has a natural line. This is about $500 per order and it takes forever to get the lenses. I can usually only afford one order at a time (years lenses), and panic if something happens to the lens, so I really needed an alternative. The Magic Top lenses not only had my base curve but they are really nice for the price. The pattern looks natural, they are true to color, and they are super comfortable. I ordered the Grey and its nice and light, a warmer grey that almost looks a little green on me. I have red hair, so its very natural. I am ordering the violet as well as it seems lighter than the blue.
If my $500 a pair handpainted work of art colored lenses are a 10 on a scale of 1-10, these are a solid 8 for looks and comfort. And at 1/5th the price, I may have a new option.
