The contacts themselves are thick but not uncomfortable. My eyes are dark brown and these contacts cover&/blend really well with my eye color. They dramatically change your eye color. I personally didn't like the way they looked with my skin color. My skin is a shade above medium and I have black hair. I was looking for a green color and this was not it. I'm going to try buzios next. Great contacts, just make sure you choose the right color!!

I bought Ipanema, thinking it was going to look like the picture but it doesn’t at all. I have very dark brown eyes and this contact lenses look literally blue on my eyes. The quality is good though but the picture does not look nothing like the real contact lenses at least in my case.

First let me begin with shipping; fast, very fast delivery these contacts came from Cyprus to California and they got here very fast. I ordered on July 6 today is the 9th. Now for the actual product, the contact lens; I ordered ipanema color, they are beautiful and comfortable Very easy to put on. A little more on the blue Side Than expected (I wanted more green) but beautifully Blended. I have very dark brown eyes but these lens make me look like I was born with this color, so u can imagine the change is pretty dramatic but they look natural.

3 Hidrocor Rio Ipanema

The colour of these lenses is spectacular, a very fine combination of light blue and yellow that can compliment any skin tone (even mine, which is a sickly pale with disgusting yellow undertones!). Compared to the Hidrocor Quartzo, they are less flashy and don't create a zombie -effect (which the Quartzo did on me). The pattern, however, is way more evident than it the one in the Buzios, and the overall effect is not particularly natural. These are excellent lenses for taking pictures or videos, but I wouldn't recommend them in real life. The only other downside is the same as with all yearly Soloticas: they are extremely thick and get uncomfortable pretty soon.
